A slight rise in tourists arrivals visited Melaka in 2018.

About 17 millions tourists came in 2018, more than 2017.

Melaka hope to welcome more tourists to visit the state in 2019 in Visit Melaka Year 2019.

PUBLIC TALKS PLANNED

With our office space done up, our next development plan is to arrange public talks.

We intend to hold 6 public talks next year hopefully in March, May, July, September, November and December.

Topics and speakers can range from tourism, wild life, conservation, technology, IT seevices and other interesting topics.

Speakers are allowed to present 1 hour talk and will be followed with questions and answer session from the public.

Interested individuals who are keen to present their talks, please email us your CV and topic you wish to present to: ekonghing@gmail.com.

FIRST PRIVATE TALK ON FRONT UPSTAIRS OFFICE SPACE

We held the first private talk for invited guests at the upstairs front office space.

The private talk was on retirement.

In the future, we may invite public and private talks by guest speakers on various topics such as on tourism, wild life, ecotourism, health and other topics of public interest.

We hope to make upstairs office space into a meeting point for Malaccans and visitors.

RETRACTABLE ALUMINIUM CLOTH HANGER INSTALLED

We installed a retractable aluminium cloth hanger at the car park area.

With this contraption, wet clothes can be hung and dried.

LED LIGHT AND MIRROR WITH SHELF INSTALLED AT HERITAGE ROOM WC

We installed a LED light and a mirror with shelf in the heritage WC yesterday.

We can now switch on the WC LED light from the inside of the heritage room.

UPSTAIRS FRONT ROOM NOW HAS 4FT. LED LIGHT

We fixed a 4ft. LED light in the front upstairs room today.

Light can be switched on front the front door of the room now.

IMPROVEMENTS TO BE DONE IN MALACCA

Improvements will be done in MALACCA next week.

A 4 ft. LED light will be added in the front room.

Another 2 ft. LED light will be added at the heritage room WC together with a mirror with shelf. This light can be turned on from the heritage room.

Also, the upstairs corridor and upstairs rear WC area maybe installed with motion sensor lights so that the lights will switch on and off if there is motion detected.

Downstairs, a motion sensor light will be put in the carpark WC, ground floor front entrance corridor and a 4ft. retractable Aluminum clothe hanger will also be installed.

EMP KL OFFICE TO LET

Our KL office is opened for new tenant.

Our 540 sq.  ft office can be rented at RM 1,100 to RM 1,200.00 per month.

We painted up the office walls and vacuum up the carpet flooring.

Very suitable for a small corporate office.

ROBOT FLOOR CLEANER FOR UPSTAIRS OFFICE SPACE

We have deployed our robot floor mopper to mop up dust from our newly laminated flooring in our upstairs office space.

Uses rechargeable batteries and it can move around remotely to mop up the floor. No supervision.

NEW SENIOR ROOM WITH ATTACHED WC AND SHOWER

A new senior room with attached WC and shower has been constructed at the rear ground floor.

Wheel chair ramps were made as well.

The room is fully furnished and air conditioned.

It is suitable for seniors who cannot climb up stairs or wheelchair bound.
