MALACCA WATER TAXIS TO PLY MELAKA RIVER
By mid 2017, a new Malacca water taxi service will be launched by mid year.
This service will have 5 taxi terminals from Melaka Sentral bus hub to CIQ terminal at the estuary of Malacca River
Passengers can take these water taxis into the city which bypasses traffic jams in the city.

I hope the one way fare for each stop is RM 1.00 only and a full one way fare is RM5.00 only. Daily ticket can be priced at RM10.00 for unlimited travel. By doing so, it encourages regular passengers both locals and visitors.
ReplyDeleteMalacca water taxis will soon be introduced by mid year once the upgrading works to Melaka Sentral is completed.
ReplyDeleteThe taxis will ply from Melaka Sentral to the Melaka river cruise terminal at Jalan Kota. 5 terminal stop s are expected.
I am looking forward to this service but the fares must be reasonable eg RM 1.00 for 1 stop or max RM 5.00 one way for 5 stops.
A daily ticket pass at say RM 10.00 per day unlimited stops can encourage usage by locals and tourists alike.
Let us make the Melaka river comes alive again.
